Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/wp-meta-search directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress

Use the Appearance->Widgets and register ‘WP Meta Search Form’ to display the form as a widget

I wanted to add a search form, able to search several custom field keys and text. I found this plugin is super easy to install, and worked as I expected. Hidden post type query was great. Still have some further requests, so looking forward to upgrades.
